100% Bluefaced Leicester Yarn 8ply/DK weight, approx 100g

Bluefaced Leicester wool is unique to the British Isles. Often referred to as 'poor man's cashmere' Bluefaced Leicester yarn is said to be the finest commercial 'Lustre' Wool in the world. Due to extensive grading during processing this yarn is unbelievably soft, similar in character to high quality Mohair and Alpaca. This yarn is dense, very soft, low pilling and hard wearing. This yarn
is especially soft and lofty compared to other brands of Bluefaced Leicester. Knitting with this yarn is pure luxury!

Approximate tensions:22- 24 stitches per 10cm on 4mm needles

This yarn has been lovingly hand dyed, using the kettle dye method.
